Czecked Out is an elegant Czech Premium Pale Lager that captures the classic balance of rich malt complexity and assertive hop character. The sensory experience begins with a deep gold pour and a dense white head, releasing a high-intensity aroma of bready malt and spicy, floral Saaz hops. On the palate, a soft, rounded bitterness integrates seamlessly with flavors of toasted grain and fresh-baked bread, a testament to the soft water profile typical of the style. The finish is remarkably clean and lingering, showcasing a refined interplay between malt sweetness and herbal hop notes that makes this 4.6% ABV lager exceptionally sessionable.
Appearance. Deep gold color (approx. 5 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a dense, long-lasting, creamy white head that exhibits excellent retention.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Dominant bready-rich malt character with notes of toasted crust. Complemented by a medium-high spicy and floral hop bouquet. Clean fermentation profile with no detectable esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial bready malt richness followed by a pronounced yet soft and rounded bitterness. Hop flavors are medium-high, featuring spicy and herbal notes. The malt provides a complex, grainy backdrop that never feels heavy. Balanced finish that is crisp but not sharp, with a lingering, clean aftertaste of malt and hops.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, rounded mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation. Very smooth and approachable with no astringency or alcohol warmth.
