Oersoep Hana is a vibrant, non-alcoholic American IPA that pushes sensory boundaries with a complex botanical profile. Bright citrus notes from a generous addition of American hops provide a refreshing foundation, while the inclusion of Sorachi Ace hops introduces a distinctive, herbal gin-like funk characterized by lemon peel and fresh dille. This aromatic complexity is further enhanced by juniper berries, adding a resinous, spicy depth. Despite its low alcohol content, it maintains a crisp, hop-forward character where the unique traits of Sorachi Ace shine through, resulting in a unique intersection of craft beer bitterness and botanical elegance.

Appearance. Deep gold color with a brilliant to slightly hazy clarity. Topped by a frothy, persistent white head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma. Initial bursts of citrus and grapefruit from American hops are quickly joined by the unmistakable herbal signature of Sorachi Ace, reminiscent of dille and lemon curd. A secondary layer of spicy, woodsy juniper provides a gin-like botanical funk, supported by a very low, clean, grainy malt presence.

Taste. Leading with a firm hop bitterness, the palate echoes the aroma with flavors of lemon zest and herbal dille. The juniper berries contribute a subtle, peppery spice that blends with a light, crackery malt sweetness. The mid-palate is dominated by New World hop character, finishing quite dry with a lingering, clean bitterness and a botanical, resinous aftertaste.
