This decadent Imperial Stout presents a masterful integration of spirit-soaked wood and confectionary depth. Aged in a blend of bourbon, wheat whiskey, and virgin American oak barrels, it radiates intense aromas of toasted coconut and baker’s chocolate. The palate is a rich tapestry of chocolate-covered espresso beans and luxurious dark chocolate, supported by a sturdy, roasted malt backbone. Virgin American oak imparts a soft vanillin sweetness that rounds out the intense whiskey warmth. Intricate notes of sweet coconut weave through the viscous, jet-black liquid, culminating in a complex, lingering finish where roasted bitterness meets velvety, cocoa-driven luxury.
Appearance. Jet black and opaque (SRM 40+). It features a thick, deep tan head with moderate retention. Due to the high alcohol content and coconut oils, noticeable legs are visible on the glass when swirled.

Taste. An initial impression of bittersweet baker's chocolate and sweet coconut. The middle palate reveals chocolate-covered espresso beans and deep roasted malt. Hop bitterness is moderate but serves to balance the high residual sugar. The finish is long and warming, featuring lingering notes of cocoa, oak tannins, and a smooth whiskey character that evolves as it warms.
Mouthfeel. Very full-bodied and viscous with a chewy, velvety texture. Carbonation is low to moderate, providing just enough lift to the heavy body. A significant, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no harsh solvent notes.
