This American IPA delivers an intense tropical profile driven by the expressive synergy of Citra and Cashmere hops. Pouring with a distinct haze, it opens with a vibrant bouquet of mango, pineapple, and lemon zest. The Citra provides a lush stone fruit and citrus foundation, while Cashmere adds layers of sweet melon and soft lime complexity. The palate is hop-forward and assertive, balancing firm bitterness against a clean, grainy malt backbone. A smooth, medium-bodied mouthfeel carries the fruit-forward character into a medium-dry finish, leaving a lingering, resinous trail. It is a bold, modern expression that prioritizes high-impact hop aromatics.
Appearance. Medium gold to deep yellow (SRM 6-8). Distinct haze from heavy hopping. Features a medium-sized, creamy white head with excellent persistence and fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit) and citrus from the Citra hops, complemented by sweet melon and lime notes from Cashmere. Low, clean, bready maltiness provides a soft background. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is a rush of tropical and citrus hop flavors. High hop bitterness is prominent but well-balanced by a light, grainy malt sweetness. The hop character showcases lemon peel and melon. Finishes medium-dry with a lingering hoppy and resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle prickle. A light, integrated alcohol warmth is present without any harshness or astringency.
