Moema is a sophisticated Hazy IPA that showcases an elegant fusion of New England hop character and Catawba grape must. It pours with a signature opaque glow, releasing high-intensity aromas of white grape, lychee, and ripe yellow fruits. The palate is defined by this juicy fruit profile, supported by a soft, bready malt backbone and a restrained bitterness that emphasizes a refined, polished finish. The inclusion of grape must lends a fine, wine-like complexity to the tropical hop expression, resulting in a smooth and beautifully integrated sensory experience that balances richness with drinkability.
Appearance. Straw to light amber (approx. 5 SRM) with a characteristic opaque haze and a healthy shine. It supports a thick, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity with a complex fruit-forward profile. Distinctive notes of white grape and lychee are prominent, alongside yellow stone fruits. The malt is subtle, providing a lightly bready, neutral background without any caramel or toastiness.
Taste. High to very high fruity flavors of white grape and tropical lychee. The malt presence is low to medium, offering a soft, grainy base. Bitterness is moderate and smooth, never harsh, leading into a soft, off-dry finish with a lingering fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a smooth, refined mouthfeel. There is a very gentle alcohol warmth that is well-integrated.
