This American IPA, interpreted as a Mountain IPA, bridges the gap between resinous intensity and lush fruit. The complex hop bill of HBC 472, Comet, Simcoe, Mosaic, and Chinook delivers a multifaceted bouquet of pine, grapefruit, and tropical berries, accented by unique coconut and subtle oak-like nuances from the HBC 472. It pours with a firm, persistent head over a golden body. The palate is dominated by firm bitterness and citrus zest, supported by a clean, grainy malt backbone. A crisp, dry finish ensures drinkability despite its rich hop profile, capturing a sense of both rugged bitterness and modern fruit-forward elegance.

Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (approx 8 SRM). Clear to slightly hazy with a thick, off-white, persistent head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of pine resin, grapefruit, and tropical mango. Secondary notes of blueberry and citrus zest are accompanied by a unique coconut and woody characteristic. Low, clean, grainy malt sweetness in the background.

Taste. Strong hop flavors of grapefruit, dank pine, and ripe tropical fruit. High bitterness that is firm but clean. Low malt character with notes of toasted crackers. The unique HBC 472 hop contributes a light woodsy, coconut complexity. Finish is dry with a lingering resinous and citrusy aftertaste.
