Nothing Bound Brewing Co

Sable is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a potent trio of Southern Hemisphere and Pacific Northwest hops. The interplay of Nectaron and Riwaka delivers an intense wave of passion fruit, peach nectar, and zesty grapefruit, while the Citra addition provides a familiar base of lychee and sweet citrus. Its profile is defined by a soft, pillowy texture and a low perceived bitterness that allows the juicy hop oils to dominate. Clean, bready malt provides just enough structure without distracting from the tropical focus. The finish is smooth and off-dry, leaving a lingering impression of sun-ripened stone fruit and tropical zest.

Appearance. Straw to light orange (4–6 SRM) with an opaque, hazy shine. Features a medium to rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by passion fruit, peach, and mango from Nectaron, alongside pink grapefruit and a slight diesel-citrus edge from Riwaka. Citra provides secondary notes of orange peel and lime. Malt is neutral and lightly bready in the background with no caramel or toast.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the tropical aroma. Low, grainy malt flavor provides a clean base. Perceived bitterness is low to moderate and very soft, never sharp. The fermentation is clean and supportive, leading to an off-dry, smooth finish with a lingering juicy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation provides a smooth sensation without any harshness, astringency, or significant alcohol warmth.
