Nothing Bound Brewing Co

Reason In Disguise is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a masterclass in New World hop selection. The aromatic profile is dominated by the distinct Riwaka hop, offering punchy pink grapefruit and passionfruit notes, layered over Mosaic's signature medley of mango and stone fruit. Its appearance is characteristically opaque with a soft, glowing straw hue and a persistent white head. On the palate, the bitterness remains remarkably low, allowing the tropical fruit complexity to shine against a backdrop of soft, bready malt. The finish is clean and juicy, making for an approachable, incredibly fruit-forward experience.

Appearance. Straw to light orange with a deep, opaque haze that creates a luminous glow. Topped by a dense, white, meringue-like head with excellent retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of tropical passionfruit and zesty pink grapefruit from the Riwaka hops, complemented by Mosaic's notes of mango, blueberry, and ripe peach. Very low, neutral grainy malt sweetness in the background.

Taste. Massive tropical fruit flavors of mango and papaya followed by a citrus-heavy mid-palate. Low perceived bitterness provides a soft, juicy impression rather than a sharp bite. Low bready malt flavor supports the hops through to an off-dry, smooth finish.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation and low alcohol warmth. Devoid of any hop harshness or astringency, providing a smooth, creamy sensation.
