Grow is a vibrant, hop-saturated Hazy IPA that celebrates a trifecta of modern hop varieties. The sensory profile is dominated by an intense tropical and stone fruit bouquet, where Bru-1 provides unmistakable notes of fresh pineapple and Mosaic contributes layers of ripe mango and subtle blueberry. El Dorado rounds out the experience with a splash of sweet watermelon and candy-like pear. This 7% ABV ale offers a pillowy, soft mouthfeel supported by a neutral, bready malt base. Despite its high hop intensity, the bitterness remains restrained and smooth, leading to a juicy, off-dry finish that emphasizes drinkability and hop depth over sharpness.
Appearance. Deep straw to light gold (4-6 SRM) with a profound, opaque haze that provides a luminous shine. Topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma characterized by a massive punch of grilled pineapple, tropical mango, and citrus. Mosaic lends subtle berry undertones, while El Dorado offers stone fruit sweetness. Malt is low and neutral, presenting as lightly bready or grainy. Fermentation esters are fruity and well-integrated with the hop profile.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of juicy tropical fruit, specifically pineapple and mango. High hop flavor follows the aroma, featuring pear and citrus notes. Malt flavor is low, providing a soft, grainy foundation. Bitterness is medium-low, well-masked by the body's softness. The balance is heavily hop-forward. Finishes off-dry and clean with a lingering fruity aftertaste devoid of any hop burn.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, soft, and pillowy body. Carbonation is moderate. It possesses a smooth, velvety texture without being viscous or cloying. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present. No astringency or raw starch texture.
