Dewstone presents a vibrant sensory journey, lead by the classic interplay of Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops. This Hazy IPA radiates with a lush bouquet of tropical mango and zesty grapefruit from the Citra, seamlessly intertwined with the elegant, crushed white grape and gooseberry nuances characteristic of Nelson Sauvin. The profile is remarkably juicy, supported by a soft, bready malt foundation that provides a plush canvas for the hop intensity. A restrained bitterness ensures a smooth, approachable finish, making this 6.2% ABV offering a focused exploration of modern hop character and velvety, pillowy texture.
Appearance. Straw to light orange-gold (SRM 4-6). Opaque haze with a luminous, healthy shine. Thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet. Dominated by passion fruit, grapefruit, and mango from the Citra, complemented by Nelson Sauvin's signature white wine, gooseberry, and subtle cold-pressed grape skins. Low bready-sweet malt in the background; clean fermentation with light stone fruit esters.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor featuring layers of lychee, citrus zest, and tropical fruit. Nelson Sauvin provides a distinct mid-palate complexity of white currant and crushed grapes. Low to moderate bitterness that remains smooth. Finishes off-dry and soft with a lingering, juicy hop aftertaste.
