Nothing Bound Brewing Co

Beach Baby is an assertive Double IPA that showcases a vibrant, tropical-forward hop profile. The use of Peacharine hops provides intense stone fruit aromas, specifically ripe peach and nectarine, while Citra adds layers of bright grapefruit zest and juicy lime. A lean, neutral malt backbone allows these hops to shine without excessive sweetness. The sensory experience is defined by a clean, dry finish that masks the 8% ABV remarkably well, offering high drinkability despite its strength. Expect a crisp bitterness that lingers alongside notes of tropical mango and resinous pine, making for a refreshing yet powerful aromatic journey.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (7-9 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a tall, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma. Pronounced notes of ripe peach, nectarine, and apricot from Peacharine, complemented by Citra's citrus-heavy profile of grapefruit and lime. A very low, grainy malt sweetness resides in the background. Fermentation is clean with a hint of smooth ethanol.

Taste. Initial punch of citrus and stone fruit. High hop bitterness, firm but smooth. Malt is light and supportive, suggesting clean cracker and neutral grain. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering resinous and fruity hop aftertaste. Very low fruit esters from yeast.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Moderate-high carbonation. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth that is not solventy. Low hop-derived astringency.
