This Hazy IPA collaboration between Northern Monk and Polly’s delivers an assertive tropical punch. Centered on the innovative HCB1019 hop, the profile radiates a lush punchbowl character defined by honeydew melon and sweet orange, accented by a distinct note of creamy coconut. The addition of Nectaron and Mosaic hops deepens the sensory experience, layering in soft stone fruit and ripe peach. It presents a soft, rounded presence where high-intensity fruit esters harmonize with a delicate, bready malt base. The result is a vibrant, modern ale that balances intense hop saturation with the smooth, pillowy mouthfeel quintessential to the style.

Appearance. Straw to light orange (4-6 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze that provides a characteristic shine. Topped by a dense, white, meringue-like head with excellent retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet featuring dominant honeydew melon, peach, and citrus orange. Unique HCB1019-derived coconut notes are present, backed by soft stone fruit. Low bready, neutral malt in the background with clean fermentation and moderate fruity esters.

Taste. High-intensity fruity hop flavors of ripe peach, tropical melon, and zesty orange. The malt is low and grainy-sweet, supporting the fruit without adding toast or caramel. Bitterness is low to moderate and smooth, never harsh. The finish is off-dry and juicy with lingering stone fruit and a soft hop-derived coconut aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation provides a smooth sensation. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present at 7.2% ABV, without any astringency or raw starchiness.
