This modern American Pale Ale showcases a lush, New World hop profile built upon a reinforced malt foundation. The 2026 iteration features a sophisticated hopping program including Peacharine, Pacific Sunrise, and Floe Outback, which deliver intense layers of ripe nectarine, juicy peach, and tropical mango. A strategic addition of Galaxy hops provides a grounding, slightly dank edge to the finish, contrasting the bright fruit notes. While it leans into the fruit-forward trends of contemporary brewing with its thicker base and saturated hop character, it maintains the classic drinkability and balance expected of the style, concluding with a clean, hop-centric resolution.
Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber (7-9 SRM). Moderately large, creamy off-white head with excellent retention and sticky lacing. Displays a slight, modern hop haze while remaining translucent.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by stone fruit and tropical notes. Prominent nectarine and peach are supported by mango and a hint of citrus. Low grainy-sweet maltiness provides a neutral backdrop, while a late resinous, dank character emerges as the beer warms.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of stone fruit and tropical sweetness. Mid-palate reveals nectarine, mango, and peach flavors from the southern hemisphere hops. Malt flavor is lightly bready and supportive. Moderate bitterness is well-integrated and never harsh. The finish is clean but marked by a lingering resinous dankness and citrus zest in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle prickle on the tongue. Very light alcohol warmth. Smooth finish with no astringency.
