This Hazy Pale Ale pours a luminous, bright yellow, signaling a modern and soft grain bill. The aromatic profile is uniquely layered, featuring the Lórien hop which provides a distinctive bouquet of fresh wildflowers and a subtle cinnamon spice. These earthy, floral notes provide a sophisticated counterpoint to the vibrant, fruit-forward sweetness of Nectaron and Melon hops, which contribute lush tropical fruit and ripe honeydew characteristics. On the palate, a pillowy, bready malt foundation supports the complex hop interplay, leading to a clean, citrus-flecked finish. It is a beautifully balanced American Pale Ale that highlights innovative New World hop character with a signature velvety texture.
Appearance. 3–5 SRM. Bright yellow to pale gold. Opaque and hazy with a moderately large, frothy white head that shows good retention and leaves light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring pungent mixed citrus, fresh wildflower, and a light cinnamon spice. Supporting notes of tropical stone fruit and sweet melon are present. Low, doughy, bready maltiness provides a neutral base with light fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression is fruit-forward with citrus and tropical Nectaron flavors, followed by a mid-palate of ripe melon. The Lórien hops add an earthy, floral, and spicy cinnamon complexity. Low to moderate bitterness is well-integrated with a soft, bready malt character. The finish is clean and refreshing with lingering notes of wildflower and citrus.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, creamy, and pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. No perceptible alcohol warmth and no astringency, providing a very smooth, easy-drinking experience.
