Northern Monk delivers a quintessential Hazy IPA experience that emphasizes a lush, tropical sensory profile. The pour is intensely hazy with a glowing orange hue, releasing a high-intensity bouquet of mango, passionfruit, and bright citrus zest. Utilizing a clean, grainy malt base, the beer allows the expressive New World hop character to take center stage without the distraction of caramel or toast. The palate is defined by a soft, pillowy texture that carries ripe stone fruit flavors through a smooth, off-dry finish. Bitterness is expertly restrained, ensuring the juicy hop expression remains the focus while maintaining high drinkability and a refined, creamy mouthfeel.
Appearance. Pours a deep straw to light orange color with an opaque, uniform haze that provides a vibrant shine. It is topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.
