This amplified Double IPA offers an intense olfactory experience, driven by a triple dry-hop addition of Citra, Mosaic, and Columbus. The Citra hops burst with saturated notes of mango and zesty lime, while the Mosaic contributes complex layers of ripe blueberries and tropical stone fruit. A resinous, dank undercurrent from the Columbus provides a grounding earthiness that balances the vibrant fruit profile. Despite its robust strength, the beer maintains a smooth, approachable character typical of a Double Hazy IPA. The palate is a saturated tapestry of juice-like flavors supported by a soft malt backbone, finishing with a restrained but firm bitterness.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange; opaque and hazy with a persistent, creamy white head that leaves thick, tiered lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet; dominant notes of passion fruit, tangerine, and blueberry; secondary layers of resinous pine and black pepper; clean, neutral malt background with a hint of bready sweetness.
Taste. Immediate impact of tropical fruit nectar and citrus zest; prominent Citra-driven mango and Mosaic-driven mixed berries. A moderate-high hop bitterness is present but smooth, balanced by a soft, wheaty malt profile. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering resinous and fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, velvety texture; moderate carbonation; noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth; no harsh hop-derived astringency.
