North Kosmische is a luscious Double IPA that prioritizes a saturated hop profile over aggressive bitterness. The addition of oats to the malt base creates a sumptuous, thick texture that serves as a canvas for the vibrant Cryo Pop™, Eclipse, and experimental HBC 1019 hops. This combination yields intense aromatics and flavors of Valencia oranges, fresh pineapple, and over-ripe peach, accented by soft honeydew melon. At 8% ABV, the alcohol is well-hidden behind a creamy, juice-like character, leading to a smooth, lingering finish that emphasizes modern fruit-forward complexity and high drinkability.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (6-8 SRM); hazy to opaque with a dense, persistent white head and significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of sweet pineapple, orange zest, and stone fruit. Background notes of grainy, bready malt with a clean fermentation profile and a slight, smooth alcohol presence.

Taste. Initial burst of tropical fruit led by Valencia oranges and pineapple. Secondary flavors of ripe peach and honeydew melon transition into a soft, bready malt character. Bitterness is moderate and supportive rather than aggressive, resulting in a smooth, fruit-forward finish with a clean aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a creamy, thick texture derived from the heavy use of oats. Moderate carbonation and a restrained, well-integrated alcohol warmth; devoid of any hop-derived astringency.
