Continuum is a vibrant American Pale Ale that masterfully bridges the Atlantic, pairing the punchy character of US hops with the structured backbone of British malts. The sensory experience begins with high-toned citrus zest and deep forest resin on the nose, underpinned by toasted biscuit and light honey. On the palate, a crisp, clean fermentation allows the zesty hop flavors to shine before giving way to a satisfying, firm bitterness. The finish is remarkably dry and refreshing, characterized by a lingering resinous snap that invites another sip, embodying the effortless drinkability and crisp balance of a modern pale ale.
Appearance. Pours a brilliant, clear deep gold with a moderately large, frothy white head that exhibits excellent retention and leaves consistent lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderately high hop aroma featuring pronounced grapefruit zest and sticky pine resin. A supporting low to moderate malt character provides notes of toasted biscuit and light bread crust, typical of British malts, with a clean fermentation profile and very low fruity esters.
Taste. Leading with a bright hop-forward impression of citrus peel and resinous spice, the flavor is balanced by a sturdy, grainy malt backbone of biscuit and cracker.
