Norm Brewing’s Nelson Focus is a masterclass in varietal expression, leveraging three formats of Nelson Sauvin—T90, Cryo, and Hop Kief—to create a singular sensory experience. This Double IPA radiates with the quintessential New Zealand character of crushed gooseberries, vibrant white wine grapes, and zesty pink grapefruit. The high-intensity hop profile is supported by a lean, neutral malt backbone that allows the nuanced, diesel-flecked tropical notes to lead. It finishes crisp and dry, showcasing a firm but polished bitterness that belies its strength, delivering a sophisticated profile reminiscent of a dry Sauvignon Blanc.

Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper (SRM 6-10). Displays a moderate-sized, persistent white head with excellent lacing and good clarity, though a very slight haze may be present.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by Nelson Sauvin characteristics: distinct white wine grapes, crushed gooseberries, and pink grapefruit.
