This Double IPA presents an intense floral and fruit-forward profile driven by a heavy double dry-hopping of Talus, Loral, and Idaho 7. The 2024 edition highlights the signature pink grapefruit, peach, and dried rose petals of Talus, beautifully integrated with the noble-like floral and herbal elegance of Loral. Supporting these delicate layers, Idaho 7 adds depth with notes of ripe stone fruit and bright lime zest. A clean, neutral malt base allows these complex hop layers to shine, leading into a crisp, dry finish that emphasizes resinous wood and citrus peel. It is a sophisticated, flower-driven powerhouse.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (SRM 7-10) with a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head leaving significant lacing. Clarity is good, though a slight, translucent haze from the heavy dry-hopping is acceptable.

Aroma. High-intensity hop aroma dominated by floral rose and herbal spice. Layered beneath are distinct notes of pink grapefruit and lime, complemented by tropical and stone fruit scents. Malt is very low and neutral, presenting a faint grainy sweetness with no caramel. Clean fermentation with a subtle, well-integrated alcohol presence.

Taste. Powerful hop-forward entry featuring peach, citrus, and tropical fruit. The mid-palate reveals sophisticated floral and herbal notes. Bitterness is high but smooth and non-harsh, balanced against a soft, unobtrusive malt character. The finish is very dry with a lingering woody, resinous hop character and a hint of lime peel.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle. A gentle, restrained alcohol warmth is present but remains smooth and well-integrated, without any harsh hop-derived astringency.
