The sensory profile is driven by a classic West Coast hop trio; expect a punch of resinous pine and earthy spice from Chinook and Columbus, intertwined with bright, zesty citrus and grapefruit notes from Simcoe. These hops dominate the foreground against a lean, crackery malt base. Despite the lack of alcohol, it maintains an assertive bitterness and a dry, clean finish. This light-bodied pour delivers the refreshing intensity of a traditional American IPA, emphasizing bold aromatics and a crisp, palate-cleansing snap.
Appearance. Pours a clear, medium gold with a slight copper tint. Topped by a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves moderate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent resinous pine, earthy spice, and pungent grapefruit zest. A low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness provides a subtle background, with a very clean fermentation profile and no detectable alcohol.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with strong flavors of grapefruit, forest pine, and dank resin. Medium-high bitterness is firm and clean, supported by a low grainy-sweet malt character. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering hoppy and bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light to medium-light body with a brisk, lively medium-high carbonation. Smooth texture with no astringency or harshness, and completely lacking in alcohol warmth.
