Nomade Brewery Polymorphe

Strong Scotch Ale 6.5 º 40 IBU
Polymorphe is a rich Wee Heavy that showcases the decadent depth of Scottish pale ale malt. Poured with a deep copper hue and a thick tan head, it immediately releases intense aromas of toasted breadcrumbs, buttery caramel, and English biscuits. On the palate, the experience is viscous and chewy, dominated by layers of toffee and caramelized sugar that lean into a lush sweetness. Subtle esters of plums and raisins provide a dark fruit complexity, while a faint grainy toastiness emerges in the finish. Despite its richness, the beer remains balanced by a smooth, integrated alcohol warmth and restrained bitterness, offering a lingering, comforting malt-forward aftertaste.
Appearance. Light copper with deep ruby highlights; clear with a large tan head that may exhibit some lacing.
Aroma. High intensity of bready-toasty malt, accented by strong caramel, toffee, and English biscuits; low dark fruit esters such as plums; very low alcohol presence and no hop aroma.
Taste. Rich, sweet malt impression featuring caramel and toffee; bready and toasty flavors balance a hint of grainy roast in the finish; low bitterness with medium-low dark fruit esters including raisin; sweet to medium-dry finish.
