Red Ale 5 º 50 IBU
This vibrant Red Saison blends rustic farmhouse charm with a modern, hoppy profile. The sensory experience is defined by an expressive bouquet of fresh flowers, bright citrus, and a medley of red fruits. On the palate, specialty malts provide a delicate caramel sweetness that balances a distinctive mineral freshness and nuanced notes of white grape. Finely carbonated and highly attenuated, the beer offers the crisp, bone-dry finish characteristic of a traditional Saison while maintaining a complex interplay between hop-driven bitterness and peppery yeast spice. It is an evocative, refreshing interpretation of the farmhouse tradition.
Appearance. Deep copper to ruby-red (approximately 14–18 SRM) with a slight haze from its unfiltered nature. It features a dense, long-lasting ivory head that leaves persistent Belgian lace on the glass.
Aroma. High aromatic intensity featuring a complex mix of floral notes, bright citrus, and distinct red berries. Subtle spicy yeast phenolics resembling black pepper are present, supported by a light, grainy malt backbone with a faint hint of toasted caramel.
Taste. Initial impression is crisp and fresh, leading to a mid-palate of soft caramel malt and a unique mineral quality accompanied by vinous white grape notes. Hop flavor is moderate and fruity, supporting a medium-high bitterness. The finish is remarkably dry and attenuated with a lingering, spicy, and hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with very high, effervescent carbonation. The mouthfeel is smooth yet crisp, showing no significant alcohol warmth and a refreshing, bone-dry finish without astringency.
