This American IPA delivers a piercingly bright sensory experience, emphasizing the lean, super crisp architecture provided by a grist of rice, corn, and malt. High-intensity aromatics from a significant dry hop addition of Citra and Cashmere burst forward with vivid lime zest, lemongrass, and herbal undertones. On the palate, the hop-forward character persists, offering a clean, tropical fruit profile and firm bitterness that slices through the palate. The fermentation is exceptionally clean, ensuring the nuanced melon and citrus notes from the hops remain the focus before concluding with a bone-dry, refreshing finish.
Appearance. Brilliant clarity with a pale gold to medium gold hue. Displays a persistent, medium-sized white head with fine bubbles and excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring distinct lime peel and grapefruit from Citra, complemented by the herbal, melon, and subtle lemongrass notes of Cashmere. A very low, clean, grainy-sweet malt presence from the rice and corn adjuncts supports the hops without adding complexity. Fermentation is neutral.
Taste. The flavor is dominated by hops, leading with lime, herbal spice, and light tropical fruit. Bitterness is firm and assertive but clean. A lean malt profile provides just enough structure to carry the hops. The finish is very dry and crisp, with a lingering hoppy and citrusy aftertaste that remains refreshing.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, enhancing the refreshing quality. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present at 6.5% ABV. No astringency.
