Noiseless RT#03 - New School IPA
This modern American IPA showcases a vibrant "New School" hop profile driven by the expressive Talus and Sultana varieties. Pouring a luminous gold with a persistent white head, it radiates a complex bouquet where pineapple and citrus zest meet unique floral notes of dried roses and a hint of sage. The palate is defined by a firm, clean bitterness that frames flavors of ripe stone fruit and tropical resin. A lean malt backbone provides just enough structure without crowding the hops, leading to a crisp, dry finish that emphasizes the beer's refreshing, aromatic intensity and balanced drinkability.
Appearance. Medium gold (approx 7 SRM) with luminous clarity and a slight, modern sheen. Features a thick, white, long-lasting head with fine-textured lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of pineapple and ripe citrus from Sultana, layered with Talus-derived pink grapefruit, dried rose petals, and a whisper of herbal sage. A low, clean, crackery malt character supports the hops with a very clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit and resinous pine. The mid-palate reveals Sultana's pineapple and citrus oil characteristics alongside the stone fruit and floral complexities of Talus. Bitterness is firm and clean, never harsh. Low, bready malt provides a neutral base, finishing dry and crisp with a lingering citrus zest aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, soft texture. Moderate-high carbonation provides a refreshing bite. Very subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without any perceived astringency.
