This Double New England IPA offers a saturated sensory profile defined by its potent dry-hop blend of Citra, McKenzie, and El Dorado. The aroma is an intense explosion of tropical mango and sweet pineapple, accented by Citra's signature bright grapefruit and McKenzie’s unique contributions of stone fruit and subtle berry. On the palate, the hop-forward character delivers lush flavors of tangerine and melon, supported by a soft, doughy malt backbone. Despite the 7.7% ABV, the finish is remarkably smooth and juicy, with a restrained bitterness that emphasizes the fruit-forward nature of the hops rather than a sharp bite.

Appearance. Deep yellow to pale gold (4-6 SRM); opaque, hazy appearance; thick, persistent white head with dense lacing.

Aroma. High-intensity hop aroma featuring dominant notes of ripe mango, papaya, and citrus zest. Secondary notes of nectarine, melon, and a hint of forest floor. Low, grainy-sweet malt character in the background with moderate fruity fermentation esters of peach.

Taste. Initial impression is a wave of tropical fruit punch and citrus oil. Strong flavors of pineapple, grapefruit, and apricot follow. Low, supportive bready malt flavor. Bitterness is moderate and smooth, avoiding any harshness. The finish is medium-dry and clean with a long-lasting fruit juice aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, creamy, and plush texture. Moderate carbonation. Subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth without any solventy notes or hop-derived astringency.
