Noiseless NL#04 - NEIPA Mandarina
This Hazy IPA radiates a vibrant, juice-like personality driven by a layered hop profile. Mandarina Bavaria takes center stage, delivering distinct notes of sweet clementine and orange zest, while Mosaic adds a complex backdrop of ripe mango and dark berries. Loral contributes a subtle floral elegance and a hint of herbal complexity, bridging the citrus and tropical elements seamlessly. The aroma is intensely fruity, underpinned by a soft, bready malt foundation. On the palate, a velvety, medium-full body carries waves of stone fruit before finishing with a restrained, soft bitterness. It is a lush, expressive example of the style.
Appearance. Straw to deep gold with a soft orange hue (4-6 SRM). Opaque with a characteristic hazy shine, free of visible particulates. Thick, white, meringue-like head with excellent retention and dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring dominant mandarin orange and citrus. Mosaic contributes tropical mango and blueberry, while Loral provides a delicate peppery and floral top note. Low grainy-sweet malt presence in the background; clean fermentation with subtle fruity esters.
Taste. High fruity hop flavors of tangerine, papaya, and light floral notes. Perceived bitterness is moderate but soft, avoiding any harshness. Low malt flavor presents as neutral bread dough. The finish is off-dry and smooth, emphasizing lingering juicy fruit over hop resin.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and smooth texture. Medium carbonation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth from the 7% ABV. No astringency or raw starch character.
