This Double IPA is an assertive tribute to classic West Coast hop profiles, prominently featuring Cascade, Columbus, and Centennial. The sensory journey begins with an intense aromatic burst of resinous pine and spicy earthiness from the Columbus, beautifully layered with the bright grapefruit and floral elegance characteristic of Centennial and Cascade. Its pale gold brilliance is matched by a lean, neutral malt backbone that prioritizes a bone-dry, crisp finish. The high bitterness is firm but clean, integrated seamlessly with a smooth 8% alcohol presence that provides warmth without harshness, leaving a lingering, resinous trail on the palate.

Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (approx. 8-10 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring pungent resin, pine needles, and spicy Columbus notes, supported by grapefruit zest and floral esters from Centennial and Cascade. Malt is low and neutral-grainy; fermentation is clean with a soft alcohol hint.

Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, clean hop bitterness. Flavors of resinous pine and citrus pith dominate, backed by a very low, unobtrusive grainy malt character. The balance is heavily hop-forward, leading to a medium-dry, crisp finish with a long-lasting, bitter aftertaste and smooth alcohol.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Carbonation is medium-high and lively. Features a restrained, well-integrated alcohol warmth with no hop-derived astringency.
