Noiseless GS#08 - CCC West Coast IPA
This American IPA is a masterclass in the classic CCC hop trifecta, delivering a punchy sensory experience defined by its bright West Coast roots. Cascade hops lead the profile with distinct grapefruit and floral blossoms, while Centennial adds layers of bright lemon zest and further floral depth. Columbus anchors the sensory experience with a pungent, resinous, and slightly dank earthy character. A lean, neutral malt backbone provides a clean canvas for these hop oils to shine, finishing with a crisp, assertive bitterness. The result is a highly aromatic and refreshing expression of traditional hop character, balancing citrus vibrancy with a lingering, resinous snap.
Appearance. Deep gold (7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a medium-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent grapefruit, lemon peel, and pine needles. A distinct resinous and herbal dankness is present. Low, clean, grainy-bready maltiness supports the hops. Fermentation is clean with no perceptible esters.
Taste. Initial impression is sharply bitter and hop-forward. Medium-high citrus rind and resinous hop flavors are dominant. Low clean, grainy malt provides a supportive but unobtrusive base. The balance is decidedly bitter with a very dry, crisp finish and a long, lingering hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively mouthfeel. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without any harshness or astringency.
