This Hazy IPA showcases a vibrant sensory profile driven by the expressive Mandarina Bavaria hops. It opens with an explosion of ripe tangerine, clementine, and sweet citrus zest, supported by subtle notes of stone fruit and a soft, bready malt backbone. The appearance is a glowing, opaque straw gold with a persistent, meringue-like white head. On the palate, the hop-forward juicy character dominates, offering layers of tropical fruit and citrus without a sharp bitter edge. Its medium-full, pillowy body and smooth mouthfeel provide a lush canvas for the biotransformation-enhanced aromatics, finishing with a gentle, fruity linger and clean fermentation profile.
Appearance. Luminous straw-gold to light orange (5 SRM). Opaque with a characteristic haze and shine, free of visible yeast clumps. Dense, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tangerine and mandarin orange from Mandarina Bavaria, with secondary notes of mango and peach. Low, grainy-bready malt character in the background. Clean fermentation with subtle fruity esters.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor featuring intense citrus and tropical fruit. Low, bready malt flavor provides a neutral foundation. Bitterness is low to medium-high but perceived as smooth and restrained. Finishes off-dry and juicy with a soft, fruit-forward aftertaste free of harshness.
