Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber (approx. 8 SRM). Clear with a very slight, natural haze. Persistent, creamy white head with good retention that leaves delicate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring bright notes of grapefruit, lime, and melon from the Citra, complemented by Simcoe's distinct piney and slightly resinous undertones. Low, bready malt sweetness provides a subtle foundation. Fermentation is clean with negligible yeast esters.
Taste. Vibrant hop flavors of passionfruit, orange peel, and resinous pine dominate the palate. A medium-high bitterness is present but well-integrated, supported by a light toasted malt character. The balance is firmly hop-forward, leading to a dry, clean finish with a lingering citrus and pithy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly soft texture. Moderate carbonation provides a crisp bite. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, consistent with its 6% ABV, without any harshness.
