This Hazy IPA presents an evocative bouquet of tropical and red fruit, driven by a complex blend of HBC 586, Mosaic, and Barbe Rouge hops. On the nose, intense notes of mango and guava from HBC 586 intermingle with the signature blueberry and citrus accents of Mosaic, while Barbe Rouge adds a unique layer of ripe strawberry and red currant. The palate is defined by a soft, pillowy texture and a low perceived bitterness that allows the vibrant fruit flavors to shine. Supported by a subtle, bready malt backbone, this expression of Vitamin Sea delivers a refreshing, juice-like experience with a clean, fruity finish.
Appearance. 3–5 SRM. Straw to golden with a characteristic hazy, opaque glow. Topped by a dense, white, meringue-like head with excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominated by tropical notes of mango and lychee and ripe blueberry. Distinctive red berry accents of strawberry and raspberry are present. Background malt is clean, grainy, and lightly bready with no caramel or toast notes.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor featuring tropical stone fruit and red berries. Low to medium-low perceived bitterness, perfectly balanced against a soft, grainy malt profile. Finishes off-dry and smooth with lingering notes of citrus and red currant, devoid of any hop harshness or astringency.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky texture. Moderate carbonation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. No astringency or raw starch texture.
