Noctem Artisans Brasseurs

As a lighter expression of the brewery’s flagship, this sessionable American IPA delivers a vibrant sensory punch. The aroma is led by the intense tropical and citrus impact of Citra hops, complemented by the resinous, piney depth of Simcoe. Visually, it presents a glowing medium gold with a slight, inviting haze and a persistent white head. The palate is defined by high hop-forward flavors of grapefruit and passion fruit over a clean, crackery malt base. Despite its lower gravity, it maintains a firm bitterness and a remarkably dry finish, staying true to the assertive character expected of the style.

Appearance. Medium gold (6 SRM) with a slight haze. Topped by a medium-sized, frothy white head with excellent persistence and intricate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of tropical passion fruit, crushed citrus peel, and a distinct resinous pine. A low, clean, grainy-sweet malt presence supports the hops. Fermentation is very clean with no significant yeast esters.

Taste. Initial impression is sharply hoppy, featuring flavors of grapefruit and pine needles supported by a subtle, crackery pale malt foundation. Medium-high hop bitterness is sharp but clean. The balance is firmly hop-centric, leading to a very dry, crisp finish with a lingering zesty aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, non-astringent texture. Moderate to high carbonation provides a refreshing prickle. No alcohol warmth is perceived at this sessionable ABV.
