Agilité presents as a quintessentially vibrant Hazy IPA, defined by its luminous opacity and a layered tropical profile. The sensory experience is driven by a potent trio of Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Citra hops, which weave together intense notes of sun-ripened mango, sharp passion fruit, and bright citrus zest. The use of exceptionally pale malts provides a clean, neutral foundation, allowing these New World hop characteristics to dominate with precision. On the palate, the fruit expressions are vivid and fluid, supported by a soft, pillowy texture that carries the aromatic intensity through to a smooth, juice-like finish.
Appearance. Straw to pale gold (4 SRM) with a deep, uniform haze providing a characteristic matte shine. Pours with a dense, rocky, white meringue-like head that exhibits excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity and intensely fruit-forward. Dominant notes of tropical mango and passion fruit are complemented by fresh lime zest and crushed white grapes. Background malt is clean and lightly bready with no toast or caramel, allowing the hop aromatics to remain sharp and unencumbered.
Taste. Explodes with high-impact flavors of tropical stone fruit and citrus. The initial impression is juicy and bright, featuring layers of Nelson Sauvin-derived white wine fruitiness and Motueka lime. Bitterness is low to moderate and well-restrained, balancing the soft malt sweetness. Finishes clean and off-dry with a lingering essence of tropical fruit.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably smooth, soft, and plush texture. Carbonation is moderate, enhancing the drinkability without being prickly. Subtle alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no astringency or harshness.
