Noble Ale Works Felt Intergalactic
Felt Intergalactic is a quintessential Hazy IPA, defined by a lush, juice-like intensity and a striking, murky glow. A massive grist of rolled oats and malted wheat creates a pillowy, soft foundation that carries an explosive hop profile with minimal bitterness. El Dorado and Azacca drive deep, saturated flavors of ripe mango and stone fruit, while Citra and Mosaic contribute bright layers of tangerine and tropical pineapple. The addition of Ella provides a delicate floral lift to the bouquet. The result is a smooth, nectar-like experience where the saturated fruit flavors dominate from the first aromatic whiff to the clean, velvety finish.
Appearance. Deep straw to light orange (SRM 4-6). Opaque and murky haze with a luminous quality. Features a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring punchy tropical notes of mango, pineapple, and passion fruit alongside bright citrus orange zest. Background malt is clean and lightly bready, derived from the heavy wheat and oat additions. No grassy or herbal notes are present.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with waves of peach, melon, and citrus. Low to medium-low perceived bitterness that is well-masked by the soft, full body. Malt flavor is low and bready, providing a neutral canvas for the hops. Finish is off-dry, smooth, and lingering with a juicy tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, creamy body with a soft, cloudlike texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present. Entirely free of astringency or harshness.
