This non-alcoholic Helles Lager presents a crisp and invigorating sensory profile, balancing a clean, grainy malt backbone with the adventurous addition of fresh jalapeno. The aroma is defined by a subtle sweetness and a light floral hop touch, immediately followed by the bright, vegetal snap of green pepper. On the palate, the initial neutrality of the American Lager base allows the jalapeno’s earthy flavor to shine, finishing bone-dry with a delicate, building capsicum heat that mimics the bite of a higher-ABV brew. Brilliantly clear and highly carbonated, it remains a refreshing, light-bodied experience with a unique spicy edge.
Appearance. Pale straw to light yellow (2-3 SRM). Brilliant clarity. White, frothy head with moderate retention and fine lacing.
Aroma. Low intensity malt with a grainy, sweet, and slightly corn-like character. Low floral or spicy hop aroma. Distinctive fresh green jalapeno notes provide a vegetal, earthy, and mildly spicy aromatic lift. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Relatively neutral initial palate with low grainy malt flavor. The jalapeno provides a clear vegetal pepper flavor without intense heat. Low hop bitterness with a floral and spicy quality. Crisp, dry finish with a clean fermentation character and a lingering, mild capsicum warmth.
Mouthfeel. Light body. Very high carbonation with a sharp carbonic bite. No alcohol warmth, though the jalapeno provides a light, physical tingling sensation on the tongue. Non-astringent and refreshing.
