This American IPA showcases a vibrant interplay between New Zealand and modern American hop varieties. The sensory profile is defined by the unique contributions of Nelson Sauvin, delivering notes of crushed white grapes and gooseberry, alongside the complex layers of Strata, which bring pungent passionfruit and a subtle, herbal dankness. Built on a lean, grainy malt base, the beer presents a crisp, hop-forward character with a clean fermentation profile. Its assertive bitterness is balanced by a dry finish, making for a refreshing and highly aromatic experience that highlights the distinct fruit-forward qualities of its specific hop bill.

Appearance. Medium gold (6-8 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a persistent, medium-sized white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by white wine, gooseberry, and melon from the Nelson Sauvin, coupled with Strata's notes of passionfruit and a light resinous dankness. Low, clean, grainy-sweet malt supports the hops.

Taste. Initial hop-forward impression of tropical fruit and vinous grape. Malt flavor is low and neutral, providing a clean, grainy backbone. Bitterness is firm and high but lacks harshness. Finishes dry with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste of citrus peel and berry.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high. Very light, smooth warmth consistent with its 5.5% ABV.
