This American Lager showcases a lean, highly-carbonated profile designed for ultimate refreshment. The inclusion of heritage Bere barley provides a nuanced, rustic grain sweetness that distinguishes the malt base from standard versions, offering a crisp, cereal-forward depth. It pours a brilliant, very pale straw with a frothy white head. The aroma is clean and understated, offering whispers of floral hops and sweet grain. On the palate, the beer is exceptionally well-attenuated, featuring a delicate balance of light grainy flavors and a restrained bitterness. The finish is bone-dry and effervescent, leaving a clean, neutral aftertaste that invites another sip.
Appearance. Very pale straw color (2-3 SRM). Brilliant clarity. White, frothy head with moderate persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. Low intensity and clean. Subtle grainy-sweet malt aroma from the Bere barley. Very low floral hop character. Free of fermentation esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Crisp and neutral palate with a dry finish. Moderate-low grainy malt flavor. Low hop bitterness and very low floral hop flavor. Balance is even between the light malt and soft bitterness, finishing exceptionally clean and refreshing.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body. Very high carbonation with a distinct carbonic bite on the tongue. Smooth with no alcohol warmth or astringency.
