This decadent Imperial Stout presents an intense collision of roasted and dessert-like elements. The aroma is dominated by medium roast Latin American coffee, offering nutty nuances that meld with the spiced, vanilla-like profile of toasted Brazilian tonka beans. A rich undercurrent of caramel provides a smooth, sweet bridge between the char of roasted malts and the spice. On the palate, a heavy, velvet-like texture carries dark chocolate and dark fruit esters that harmonize with a lingering bittersweet finish. It is a bold, warming expression of the style, balancing complexity with a luscious, viscous mouthfeel and integrated alcohol.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (40+ SRM). It supports a thick, deep tan head with moderate retention that leaves persistent lacing and visible legs upon swirling, indicating high viscosity.

Aroma. High intensity. Rich medium roast coffee notes of earth and nuts are primary, complemented by the complex spice of toasted tonka beans suggesting vanilla and almond. Deep roasted malt character of dark chocolate and espresso combines with a sweet caramel maltiness and moderate esters of dried figs and prunes.

Taste. The initial impression is intensely rich and bittersweet.
