At 5.5% ABV, it presents a surprisingly robust profile, leaning into a full-bodied mouthfeel that supports its assertive hop character. Bright notes of grapefruit and orange zest lead the olfactory experience, followed by a grounding forest-floor earthiness. The palate is defined by a clean, grainy malt backbone that allows the hop-derived fruitiness to take center stage before yielding to a crisp, lingering bitterness. Appearance. Color ranges from medium gold to light reddish-amber (approx. 8–12 SRM). It displays brilliant clarity and supports a medium-sized, persistent white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of citrus peel and fresh pine resin. A low, clean, grainy-sweet malt presence provides foundational support. The fermentation profile is clean with very light, subtle esters.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with intense citrus and pine flavors. Malt flavor is low to medium-low, displaying a clean, bready character. Bitterness is firm and assertive, leading into a dry, clean finish. The aftertaste lingers with hoppy fruitiness and a sharp, supportive bitterness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, non-astringent texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle. Alcohol warmth is very low and well-integrated.
