This American IPA evokes the rugged Pacific breeze with a high-intensity hop profile driven by Simcoe, Centennial, and Strata. Assertive resinous pine and bright grapefruit zest from the Simcoe and Centennial lead the charge, while Strata adds a complex layer of passionfruit and a hint of dankness. At 7.5% ABV, it presents a lean, pale malt structure that emphasizes a sharp, clean bitterness and a bone-dry finish. The sensory experience is defined by its crystalline clarity and a vibrant, lingering hop oil character that highlights the modern West Coast interpretation, balancing tropical berry notes against a classic evergreen backbone.

Appearance. Medium gold (7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, frothy white head that shows excellent persistence and leaves thick lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring pungent pine resin, grapefruit rind, and distinct tropical notes of passionfruit and strawberry. A very low, clean, crackery malt aroma provides a neutral backdrop, while a subtle dankness and floral citrus emerge as the beer breathes.

Taste. Initial impression is of firm, assertive bitterness. Flavors of resinous pine and zesty citrus from the Simcoe and Centennial dominate, followed by Strata’s punchy tropical fruit and berry edge. Malt is low and neutral, providing a clean, grainy platform. The finish is decisively dry and crisp with a long-lingering, clean hop bitterness and very low yeast esters.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a crisp, smooth texture and no harshness. Carbonation is medium-high, accentuating the dry finish. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, consistent with its 7.5% strength.
