Imagination is a profound Belgian Dark Strong Ale that showcases the depth of a traditional Quadrupel. Brewed at a substantial 25°Blg, it delivers an intense sensory experience defined by a bready-toasty malt foundation and rich, dark caramel. The aroma is a complex tapestry of raisins, plums, and dried cherries, punctuated by subtle black pepper phenols from the Belgian yeast. At 12% ABV, the alcohol is soft and perfumy, providing a smooth, creeping warmth that elevates the full, creamy body. It balances luxurious malt sweetness with a moderately dry finish, ensuring this potent ale remains sophisticated and dangerous.
Appearance. Deep coppery-brown with garnet highlights (approx. 20 SRM). Features a huge, dense, moussy, and persistent light tan head with excellent lacing. Generally clear.
Aroma. High intensity. A complex mix of rich maltiness and deep fruit, featuring a bready-toasty base with dark caramel notes. Strong esters of raisins, plums, and dried cherries are prominent.
