Neon Raptor Brewing Co.

Slushasaurus presents as a vibrant, sensory-driven Wild Specialty Beer that mimics the nostalgia of a frozen cherry treat. The experience is dominated by an intense, jammy cherry profile that balances bright lactic tartness with a playful residual sweetness. The addition of Wheat and Oats provides a soft, bready foundation and a silkier texture than typically found in wild ales, while natural coloring ensures a striking, deep red visual. Clean fermentation allows the pure fruit character to shine, supported by a subtle, creamy malt backbone. It is a refreshing, fruit-forward beverage where the tartness enhances the vivid cherry flavor without overwhelming the palate.

Appearance. Deep, brilliant red to ruby color (SRM 20+); hazy to opaque clarity due to wheat and oat content. Features a frothy, pink-tinted head with moderate to low retention and light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity of sweet and tart cherries, reminiscent of cherry preserves or maraschino. Clean lactic acidity is present alongside a moderate doughy malt character from wheat and oats. Hop aroma is absent; yeast esters are fruity but secondary to the cherry.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tart cherry juice and candy-like sweetness. Malt flavor is moderate, providing a bready, smooth wheat and oat character that softens the acidity. Low hop bitterness (negligible IBU) allows the fruit to lead. The finish is lingering and fruity, balancing a clean sourness with a slight jammy sweetness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a notable creaminess and soft texture derived from the oats. Carbonation is moderate to high, providing a refreshing prickle that cuts through the fruit density. Very low alcohol warmth and no significant astringency.
