Neon Raptor’s Slushasaurus Blue Raspberry is a vibrant Wild Specialty Beer that leans into the nostalgic, confectionery profile of a frozen treat. An electric blue hue sets the stage for an intense aromatic burst of candied blue raspberry and zesty lactic acidity. Brewed with a base of Wheat and Barley, the palate is a playful tug-of-war between sugary berry syrup and a sharp, refreshing sourness. Despite the whimsical branding, the wild fermentation provides a crisp undercurrent that balances the sweetness. It finishes with a lingering, tart berry candy note, offering a bold and sensory-heavy experience for the adventurous palate.

Appearance. Electric blue to teal in color, ranging from hazy to nearly opaque. The head is a pale blue or white foam that dissipates quickly with poor retention, typical of high-acidity styles.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominant notes of blue raspberry candy, reminiscent of syrup or slushy concentrate. Underlying tart lactic acid provides a yogurt-like tang, while the Wheat malt adds a soft, bready background. Hop character is absent.

Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, acidic burst of tart raspberry. The flavor is intensely fruity and sweet-tart, mirroring blue raspberry candy. Malt flavor is low, providing a neutral cracker-like base of Barley. Bitterness is effectively zero (very low IBU). The finish is lingering and sweet, balanced by a clean, mouth-watering sourness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a slight creaminess from the wheat protein. Carbonation is moderate to high. No alcohol warmth is perceived. The high acidity provides a refreshing, prickly sensation without harsh astringency.
