Naparbier

Tiger is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a saturated hop profile through the use of Azacca CRYO, Citra, and Loral. The sensory experience opens with a burst of tropical mango and ripe pineapple from the Azacca, complemented by the bright grapefruit and lime zest of Citra. A delicate floral and herbal nuance from the Loral hops adds a layer of sophistication to the intense fruitiness. The mouthfeel is notably soft and plush, supporting a juice-like character with a restrained bitterness that allows the hop oils to linger. This hazy, golden pour balances its rich, grainy malt base with a refreshing, aromatic finish.

Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale gold to light amber (4–6 SRM) with a luminous opacity. It is topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head that exhibits excellent retention and leaves thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics lead with tropical fruit and citrus. Prominent notes of crushed pineapple and mango from Azacca CRYO blend with Citra’s tangerine and lemon peel. Loral provides subtle floral and peppery undertones. The malt remains in the background as a clean, lightly bready, and grainy foundation.

Taste. The palate is dominated by high fruity hop flavors, mirroring the tropical and citrus aroma. Initial impressions of sweet citrus and stone fruit transition into a soft, wheaty malt backbone. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low due to the round, soft texture. The finish is off-dry and clean, with a lingering fruit-skin aftertaste and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate, enhancing the juicy sensation. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated at 6% ABV, without any astringency or raw starch feel.

Naparbier – Tiger. La crisis económica de 2008 fue la causante de que cuatro compañeros de trabajo de la fábrica navarra de electrodomésticos Koxka unieran sus destinos. Juan, Josu, Pepe y Txerra se vieron en la calle con un ERE a principios del 2009. Con el dinero de la indemnización caliente en sus bolsillos y un panorama económico por delante no muy halagüeño decidieron saltar al vacío. Así nació Naparbier, asociándose como una cooperativa. De unos inicios en los que el objetivo era colarse en las barras de la hostelería navarra e intentar hacerse hueco a codazos entre los gigantes industriales, actualmente Naparbier se encuentra en la vanguardia europea de cervezas modernas y lupuladas. Todo chute de ánimo es poco en estos tiempos que nos ha tocado vivir. Nosotros añadimos algunos granitos de arena para que te vengas un poquito arriba.
