Naparbier Spiral is a potent Double IPA that showcases an intricate grain bill of barley, wheat, and oat malts, resulting in a remarkably smooth and plush foundation. The sensory profile is dominated by intense New World hop aromatics, bursting with notes of resinous pine, zesty grapefruit, and tropical mango. On the palate, a firm but clean bitterness cuts through the soft, bready malt character, leading to a dry and revitalizing finish. Despite its 8.2% strength, the beer maintains high drinkability, with well-integrated alcohol warmth and a lingering essence of citrus peel and floral hop oils that define this modern hop-forward ale.

Appearance. Presents a deep gold to light orange hue (8–10 SRM) with a slight, protein-induced haze from the wheat and oat additions. It is topped by a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of passion fruit, resinous pine, and bright tangerine. A supportive, soft, grainy maltiness is found in the background, complemented by light fruity esters and a clean, subtle hint of alcohol.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of citrus zest and pine resin lead the profile, supported by a low, soft, cereal-like malt character. The bitterness is high but smooth, lacking any harshness. It finishes medium-dry to dry with a clean, lingering hoppy aftertaste and a touch of floral fruitiness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost creamy texture derived from the oats and wheat. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a crispness that balances the restrained, smooth alcohol warmth appropriate for the style.
