Naparbier’s Snake Bite is a sensory-rich Double IPA that showcases the vibrant characteristics of hand-selected hops from Crosby Hop Farm. The aroma is an intense layering of Strata’s signature passionfruit and tropical depth, intertwined with the bright, zesty orange notes of Amarillo and the earthy pine and grapefruit of Simcoe. Visually striking with its hazy appearance, the beer offers a lush and creamy palate where the hop saturation takes center stage. A soft, neutral malt backbone supports the 8.5% ABV, ensuring the experience remains remarkably smooth and drinkable with a clean, lingering bitterness that avoids any harshness.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (SRM 6-9). Distinctly hazy to opaque as per the brewer's intent, topped with a dense, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop bouquet. Prominent notes of passionfruit, melon, and 'dank' herbal character from the Strata hops. These are complemented by citrusy orange and floral esters from Amarillo, backed by a resinous, piney foundation from Simcoe. Malt is low, clean, and grainy-sweet.

Taste. Strong hop flavors mirror the aroma, featuring a complex blend of tropical fruit, citrus oils, and forest pine. Bitterness is moderately high but smooth and well-integrated, never becoming astringent. The malt profile is soft and supportive, providing a light bready character. Finishes medium-dry with a long, fruity, and resinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate. A light, pleasant alcohol warmth is present, reflecting its strength without any harsh solvent qualities.
