Naparbier Shook Me is a vibrant American IPA that strikes a harmonious balance between modern fruit-forward hop character and classic structural integrity. At its core, Mandarina Bavaria hops deliver a bright, sweet citrus profile reminiscent of fresh clementines and tangerine zest. This aromatic sweetness is expertly anchored by the resinous, piney depth and earthy undertones of Simcoe, which provides a firm, foundation bittering. A clean, grainy malt backbone supports the hop intensity without overshadowing it. The experience concludes with a crisp, dry finish and a lingering citrus-peel bitterness, showcasing a sophisticated interplay between old-school resin and contemporary aromatic sweetness.

Appearance. Color is a bright medium gold to light amber (7-9 SRM). Pours with a medium-sized, off-white head characterized by good persistence and fine lacing. Clarity is generally clear, though a very slight, chill-related haze may be present.

Aroma. Aroma intensity is high, dominated by American and New World hop characteristics. Distinct notes of sweet tangerine and orange zest from Mandarina Bavaria lead, followed by a supporting layer of resinous pine and subtle woodsy notes from Simcoe. The malt presence is low and clean, offering a light bready or grainy scent with no significant caramel. Fermentation is clean and neutral.

Taste. The initial impression is decidedly hop-forward. Flavors of ripe clementine and citrus oil are prominent, quickly meeting a firm, resinous bitterness. Low levels of clean, grainy malt provide a neutral platform for the hops. The bitterness is medium-high but well-integrated, leading to a dry to medium-dry finish. The aftertaste is clean and hoppy, featuring a lingering citrus pith and pine needle character.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp, refreshing bite. A very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated at 7% ABV. Free of harshness or hop-derived astringency.
