Naparbier Overfed is a decadent Imperial Stout that artfully mimics the profile of a Banoffee pie. This intensely flavored brew leads with a rich foundation of Chocolate malt, providing deep layers of bittersweet cocoa and toasted grain. The addition of banana integrates seamlessly, offering a creamy, tropical sweetness that complements the robust, roasty base. Hints of caramel and toffee notes emerge, furthering the dessert-like complexity. At 11.5% ABV, a smooth alcohol warmth supports the luscious profile without becoming sharp or solventy. It is a bold, harmonious experience where the interplay between dark roasted grains and indulgent fruit transforms the glass into a liquid confection.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (40 SRM). It pours with a thick, dense, dark tan head that exhibits moderate retention and lacing. High viscosity is evident through visible legs on the glass wall.

Aroma. High intensity with a rich blend of bittersweet chocolate, roasted coffee, and pronounced sweet banana. Layers of caramel and toasty malt support the fruit, while a clean, noticeable alcohol warmth rounds out the profile. Hop character is very low and earthy.

Taste. The palate is dominated by a complex mix of dark chocolate and ripe banana, following the Banoffee theme. Significant Chocolate malt provides roast and cocoa depth, balancing a moderate hop bitterness. The finish is lingering and sweet with notes of espresso and caramel, though it maintains enough roasted character to avoid being cloying.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied, thick, and chewy with a velvety, luscious texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A smooth, gentle alcohol warmth is present and well-integrated, providing a cozy, dessert-like sensation.
