This West Coast Double IPA delivers a powerful sensory punch reminiscent of the style's classic roots while emphasizing a bright, modern citrus profile. Waves of vibrant mandarin and tropical pineapple lead the charge, grounded by a subtle, resinous note of light pine. The foundational malt presence offers a clean, supportive sweetness that balances the assertive hop bitterness without veering into heavy caramel territory. At 8.3% ABV, a refined alcohol warmth integrates seamlessly, enhancing the perception of sweet citrus zest. The experience concludes with a characteristic slightly dry finish, leaving a lingering trail of fruit and clean bitterness.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper with brilliant clarity. It supports a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves significant lacing as it recedes.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet featuring distinct notes of mandarin orange, fresh pineapple, and a touch of resinous pine. A clean, neutral, and slightly grainy malt sweetness sits in the background, accompanied by a very light, smooth alcohol note and a clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Strong, complex hop flavors dominated by citrus and tropical fruit, specifically mandarin and pineapple, followed by a crisp piney snap. The malt provides a soft, unobtrusive bread-like support with a hint of honey-like sweetness. Bitterness is firm and high but smooth, balancing the initial sweetness. It finishes medium-dry with a lingering, clean citrus and hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a lively prickle on the tongue. A noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, without any harshness or astringency.

Naparbier – Keep Us On The Road. La crisis económica de 2008 fue la causante de que cuatro compañeros de trabajo de la fábrica navarra de electrodomésticos Koxka unieran sus destinos. Juan, Josu, Pepe y Txerra se vieron en la calle con un ERE a principios del 2009. Con el dinero de la indemnización caliente en sus bolsillos y un panorama económico por delante no muy halagüeño decidieron saltar al vacío. Así nació Naparbier, asociándose como una cooperativa.

De unos inicios en los que el objetivo era colarse en las barras de la hostelería navarra e intentar hacerse hueco a codazos entre los gigantes industriales, actualmente Naparbier se encuentra en la vanguardia europea de cervezas modernas y lupuladas.

Nueva, que no moderna, Doble West Coast IPA de 8.3%. Rescata las sensaciones de antes, malta, ligero dulzor inicial y un potente amargor final. Seca y con aromas cítricos, a piña y a pino gracias a los lúpulos: Azzaca, Citra, y Simcoe.
